I will be giving a presentation on Goldie Griffith Cameron at the Nederland Mining Museum on Thursday, August 1, at 7 p.m. Goldie was one of the first professional female athletes in our nation’s history. From her daring feats riding bucking broncos for Buffalo Bill, to her adventurous life ranching on the land that later became Caribou Open Space, Goldie’s tale is truly remarkable.
This is the first event of Nederland’s celebration of its 150th year! Lots going on in town that weekend.
